Winners of the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ award at the National Best New Business Awards

Masons Restaurant Bar is delighted to announce they were presented with the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ award at the National Best New Business Awards.

The prestigious event took place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington, London on Friday 29th June and saw Masons Restaurant Bar compete with top businesses across the country.

Masons Restaurant Bar impressed the panel of four judges, who have cited the awards as the most transparent and professionally executed awards, with their high-quality food, high standard of customer service and exceptional all-round dining experience.

The restaurant bar is located on the Ground Floor in the iconic building of Manchester Hall, the former Freemasons Hall, on Bridge Street, Manchester City Centre. The Grade II listed building underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment after remaining untouched for decades to transform the building for the modern world, while still preserving its historic features and giving nods to the history of the iconic building in the interiors.

Ikon Furniture and Cue Marketing both worked on the project from start to finish. Ikon’s innovative designs include the green luxurious velvet booth seating, which features in Masons Restaurant Bar and also throughout Manchester Hall. The decor of Masons is a mixture of traditional and modern styles that fuse easily together. In complete contrast to the contemporary lighting, there are dozens of stunning Art Deco features dotted throughout the restaurant and bar, from the gentle marble tables to the plush green chairs and booth seats that look inviting to everyone.

Masons ethos is to combine attention to detail in their cooking with exemplary service. The restaurant bar boasts a multitude of different dining settings under one roof, catering for a plethora of requirements – from breakfast planning meetings, entertaining clients at lunch or  enjoying a romantic evening meal. A Freemasons-inspired booth can be booked for private dining.

Just as the Masons’ name references the building’s unique history, the food at Masons also nods to some of Britain’s most traditional and best loved dishes. All ingredients on their carefully sourced from across the British Isles, including Connemara organic Irish salmon from Ireland and Dukesmoor steaks from Cumbria.

There are a few exciting things happening at Masons at the moment as they launch their brand new menu and open their brand new rooftop terrace and bedrooms.

Deepa Parekh, Director of Manchester Hall, commented on the venue’s incredible win: “We are so incredibly proud to have been presented with the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ award. It is wonderful to be recognised as the Restaurant of the Year when competing against other wonderful restaurants from across the country!

“We’re hoping this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey for Masons Restaurant Bar and Manchester Hall. Our next adventure is the upcoming launch of our rooftop terrace and brand new bedrooms. I know the whole team is excited for what the future holds.”
